This bathroom had an original roll top bath with traditional sink and W.C when we first visited. However, this room had not been updated for years and it appeared very bland and boring. The clients had only recently moved in and this was one room that needed renewing. The aim was to bring the room bang up to date using modern features but keeping to a fairly tight budget. A shower bath was a must for the professional couple and they preferred the more modern square designs to the classic curved but wanted it to maintain its practicality from a cleaning point of view. The couple didn’t want the overly sharp corners that come with some modern fixtures, but infact they wanted to blend the curved and square styles together.
A dark tile was selected to give contrast and the inclusion of the mosaic panel added a feature to make it even more modern. This bathroom looks fab and works great and ticks all the boxes for the couple, a stylish, practical and inviting room. The storage below the basin allows them to keep a minimalist look, whilst the matching floor tiles make the room appear larger than it actually is.Customer Review What was Said?
Absolutely love my new bathroom – what a transformation! Can’t believe the power of the shower now I have a pump – great suggestion Rooms.
This bathroom was designed for our clients son with the main objective being storage. This bathroom is in fact our 5th for this client and in each one we have incorporated a ”seat” for comfort and also incorporating the facility of a shelf for storage within the shower area.
The curved shower screen gives a sense of space and gives more floor space without compromising on the size of the enclosure. The solid surface Mistral worktop finishes it off perfectly with the upstand working as a splash back taking away the need for tiles around the sink area.
We used Karndean flooring in a wood effect and mirrored the upstand here.Customer Review What was Said?
Again a very small space to work with - the main brief for this room was that there was to be both a shower and a bath. We toyed with many ideas, many shaped baths and showers were consider, but in the end we decided (along with the client) that a small roll-top bath would be ideal in this bathroom. It is in-keeping with the style throughout the house and the round edges mean that it gives better floor space.
The dark wood Karndean floor looks great but is also very practical as it is water proof non-slip. The tradition feel is carried on with the furniture and accessories the client has chosen for this room, the subtitle tiles and warm paint colour makes this the perfect bathroom.Customer Review What was Said?
We were delighted with the standard of work, quality of the products and the overall finish and felt we would have been hard pushed to better this.
